Benjamin from Germany will be 17 when he begins the exchange program. He loves exploring the outdoors, and with friends at the sports club he enjoys playing tennis and basketball. He also likes taking bike rides. Other sports include badminton, golf, gymnastics, and jogging. In the winter, he prefers skiing and ice skating. If possible, Benjamin would like to explore ice hockey, basketball, and surfing during his exchange in the US. He is interested in pop, rock, and rap music, and he likes to read informational books. Benjamin's native language is German. He has been studying English for 5 years and Latin for 4 years, with his favorite school subjects being math and sports. After finishing school in Germany, he plans to study biology and hopes to become a scientist in the future.
Benjamin lives with his mother, younger sister and two cats. His mother is a business economist and his father is an engineer. Benjamin can live in a home with pets, and has no allergies or dietary restrictions.
